BEHIND THE PROJECT | Nu-Pure Beverages
Delivering electrical infrastructure for modern beverage manufacturing
Food and beverage manufacturing is becoming increasingly automated, connected and technically sophisticated. Behind the production equipment sits the electrical infrastructure required to bring these systems together safely and reliably.
At the Nu-Pure Beverages facility in Horsley Park, New South Wales, CE Group delivered electrical installation works supporting new production infrastructure in partnership with Krones AG.
The project is a strong example of the specialist electrical capability required when working alongside production equipment and technology within a process manufacturing environment.
Integrating electrical and production infrastructure
Manufacturing projects bring together multiple systems, suppliers and technical disciplines.
Electrical installation needs to align with the requirements of specialist production equipment while providing the power, cabling and communications infrastructure needed to support the wider operation.
For the Nu-Pure project, the scope included electrical installation and associated cabling, together with power supply works, testing and termination. Fibre-optic communications infrastructure was also installed as part of the works.
Coordination between electrical works and specialist production systems was therefore an important part of delivery.
Supporting increasingly connected manufacturing environments
Modern manufacturing infrastructure relies on more than power alone.
Communications and control infrastructure increasingly connect equipment across the production environment, making the integration between electrical and technology systems an important consideration during installation.
The inclusion of fibre-optic infrastructure within the Nu-Pure works reflects this increasingly connected manufacturing environment.
Building capability across food and beverage manufacturing
The Nu-Pure project adds to CE Group’s experience across food, beverage and process manufacturing, where electrical delivery needs to integrate effectively with specialised plant and production technology.
For manufacturers, OEMs and project delivery partners, this requires electrical contractors who can operate within complex industrial environments, coordinate across technical interfaces and support projects through installation, testing and handover.
It is this combination of electrical construction, specialist cabling and systems integration that supports the next generation of Australian manufacturing infrastructure.
