CE Group was engaged by Ventia to deliver a significant electrical, instrumentation and control package as part of the Burpengary East STP Upgrade for Unitywater.
The project involves extensive new infrastructure and modifications to existing assets across the operational treatment plant, requiring careful staging and integration to maintain plant operations throughout construction.
The scope spans electrical infrastructure across the inlet works, pump stations, bioreactor, blower building, clarifiers, dosing and filtration facilities, odour control infrastructure and other process areas. Works included the installation of local control panels, instrumentation, cabling, cable support systems and lighting. CE were also responsible for the manufacture and delivery of the prefabricated transportable switchroom, switchboards, MCCs, distribution boards, UPS, communications, HVAC and associated electrical systems, all undertaken at our Yatala manufacturing facility.
A key delivery requirement was the integration of new infrastructure with existing treatment plant assets while maintaining ongoing STP operations.
