CE Group, a well-respected electrical mining contractor, was engaged by Jemena to manage the electrical installation for a new natural gas metering station in Wilton, NSW. 

This new metering facility represented the final stage of the Eastern Gas Pipeline project for Jemena, which was vital in supplying natural gas to approximately one-third of Sydney’s gas customers. The project involved the construction of the new metering facility, designed to supply gas to two existing metering facilities in the area.

CE Group was met with the challenge of delivering the project under tight delivery constraints. However, drawing on their extensive experience as a leading electrical mining contractor, they ensured the project’s success. 

In addition to constructing the facility, CE Group expertly performed the Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Area (EEHA) installation. Furthermore, they provided an in-house-built Motor Control Centre, Distribution Boards, Dry Fire Warning, and Fire Suppression System for the facility.
