AAT Fisherman Islands Terminal – Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Services
Project Details
Australian Amalgamated Terminals’ Fisherman Islands Cargo Terminal operates continuously within the Port of Brisbane, requiring machinery and operating infrastructure to remain safe, reliable and available around active terminal operations.
CE Group was appointed under a three-year Maintenance Services Agreement commencing in July 2024, with provision for a further one-year renewal. The agreement establishes responsibility for electrical and mechanical maintenance across AAT machinery and operating infrastructure, delivered within a 24-hour, seven-day operational environment.
The scope extends across the maintenance lifecycle, incorporating preventative and planned maintenance, breakdown response, corrective maintenance, fault finding, inspections and repairs. Maintenance activities are coordinated around terminal operations and shipping requirements, with works planned to minimise disruption to the normal functioning of the site.
Delivery also includes day-to-day maintenance supervision, workforce and roster coordination, maintenance planning and scheduling, work order management and maintenance record keeping through AAT’s maintenance management system. The service model requires ongoing coordination with AAT operational personnel, contractors and other site users within an active cargo terminal.
A key component of the agreement is asset reliability and condition management. Maintenance performance is monitored through planned maintenance completion, equipment availability, breakdowns, machinery downtime, work orders and safety performance. The contract establishes minimum operational availability requirements of 98% for new machinery and operating infrastructure and 95% for existing assets, providing a defined performance framework for maintenance delivery.
The agreement demonstrates CE Group’s capability to provide integrated maintenance services within operational industrial infrastructure, combining electrical and mechanical maintenance with workforce management, maintenance planning, asset condition monitoring and responsive support across a 24/7 port environment.
